How COOL are you?

COOL  =
                   C  = CONDUIT
                   O  = OF
                   O  = OPEN-ENDED
                   L   = LEVERAGE

Are you a Conduit of Open-ended Leverage?

Conduit = A person that acts as a channel for the transmission of something
Open-ended = Having no predetermined limit or boundary
Leverage = Power to influence a person/ a situation
                 = Use something to maximum advantage

Am I COOL?

Yes you are COOL when you desire to be an achiever.

You are COOL as you aspire to work hard.

You are COOL as you determine to be a channel that transmits success.

You are COOL if you strive for a purpose:  not to hurt but to create.

Yes you are COOL as you lift someone’s burden; helping someone who is sad get his/her life back.

You certainly are COOL if you use your opportunity to the maximum to be a leverage.

Yes, you are COOL when you refuse to limit yourself, knowing as a conduit you are not limited in anyway.

You know what I mean, being helpful, lovable but not spiteful. These are essential ingredients of a conduit; they are distinctive skills and characteristics of a conduit, yes, that’s when you are really COOL.

Think for a minute, how COOL it is to have money in your pocket, to go shopping and buy some quality clothing or accessories. How COOL to not always go, ‘mum, can I have a certain amount of money please.’

How COOL will it be when you know either now or in the future you can make money in an intelligent way?

Yea conduit that’s right but you know what? You need to start now don’t spend all day watching television or sleeping, sleeping and sleeping. You will shut down as a conduit and you will never be COOL.

Do something you will be proud of: compose a poem, write lyrics for a song, write a TV script or design a new advert, devise a new computer game, invent something new.

You know you can do it so why deny yourself your opportunity to be celebrated?

Getting off facebook, twitter and MSN for a few minutes so as to ponder, meditate and re-think will be really worthwhile when the results begin to roll in.

Halting to play PSP and Wii is what is really really COOL.

Have you heard of a business person who first tells his/her rivals their ideas? Such a person will not be succeeding.

To think is cool but to take positive actions and no procrastination is even COOLER.

Your challenge now:

Think of a new idea.

What can you invent?

What could you do positively to make the situation you are in better?

Stop blaming everyone else but yourself.

The spotlight is on you this is your opportunity to show the world you are indeed COOL. Leave me a comment

Believe In Yourself

The best thing you can do for yourself which no other person can do for you

is to constantly believe in yourself. Believe in your ability and do not let anyone

put you down.

'Oh yeah that's so easy isn't it? I hear you ask. I know it is not so easy but it is

what you need to do to achieve in life, to become a successful person. By the time

I was seventeen, things were not going the way I thought it would be.

I suffered a setback academically and I was made to believe I was nothing. It went

on for a few years and I did not know I could achieve at all. I could not lift my head

up high among my peers and to be honest I thought I had come to the end of my

tether. I wanted to succeed so I tried to convince myself that I can still hold on and

that I could succeed. It was a bit hard as it seemed I was the only one who believed

in myself so I had to fight myself not to give up.

I was so scared of my future and had almost resolved to defeat. Suddenly, something

happened. I decided to put my trust in Him who I was sure could help me and He

transformed my life. He gave me hope and the perception I had about myself began

to change even though my circumstances had not changed.

The months of December were not good times I never looked forward to getting to

December as it just rubbed salt into my wounds of failure, it painted a picture of not

making a headway as I was in the same position I was the year before.

This was the case until one morning on the First of January I was visited by the Lord

who asked me to give Him my hopes and aspirations and since then things began to

change in my life. It has been over twenty years that happened and my life still seems

to be transforming daily because the Lord still showers me with surprises daily

as I constantly stand in awe of who He is.

Your life can be transformed too and your dreams can come true. The Lord is waiting at

the door of your heart and will not hesitate to come in if you let Him. He transformed mine

and I see no reason why He will not do the same for you.

If there is anything you would like to ask or anything you think you would want to discuss

with me, drop me a line and I'll be willing to chat.

Help I'm A Teen

Everyone is always telling me what to do

so i don't even know what i want

I know i don't fancy music

I hate reading but i have to get excellent grades to please my mother

My father wants me to be a pilot but i would like to be an artist

At school my teacher expects me to always get high grades in Physics but my only goal is to be a painter

I have worked hard to get my grades and please my father so i believe it is time to work even harder to please my own desire

What is my desire?

Yes what is my desire

I don't know what i desire

I just want to have fun

What Is Your Worth?

The Bible says, 'Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young

speaking to young Timothy in I Timothy 4:12.
Although this was a speech older than a thousand years ago, it is still

valid today.

Growing as a young Christian about twenty years ago this scripture has

been one I never forgot as I used to sing it as a song.

As our world today has gone global, the internet, TVs and every digital

gadget has made us aware of our rights and everything we have access to,

as a result, we begin to query whether what we do is tenable to God or not

[that is if we are Christians], if not, we live our lives as we please and we

tend to forget we are expected to maintain our integrity.

As teenagers and particularly a Christian teen, The Lord still expects you to

live with integrity so nobody can think less of you. The KJV Version of the

Bible says, 'Let no man despise your youth...' To me that means let nobody

see you as cheap, look down on you because of the way you carry your body

or because of what you do to your body.

I became a Christian as a teenager and it has turned my life around from then

till now.

Talking about self-esteem, success and living with integrity is part of the

passion I have and I intend to be discussing these topics here.
